About me

I am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), studying with the Coaches Training Institute, one of the largest and most respected coach training organisations in the world. In addition, I am certified in the neuroscience and ‘brain based’ behaviours of leadership coaching with the Neuroleadership Institute (NLI) in New York.

I am an accredited Strengths Profile practitioner and coach on the Landit platform. I am also an Affiliate Member of the Institute Of Coaching, at the McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate. In addition I am a certified in Positive Psychology Vision Day Methodology and trained in the team and relationship tools of Organisation and Relationship Systems Coaching.

After 5 years in the United States, I am now based back in the UK, coaching people from a wide variety of backgrounds from around the world. Outside of coaching I love playing jazz piano, running up hills and embarrassing my children.

Prior to coaching I spent over 20 years working in communications and in politics. My passion is public service and I see coaching as a unique public service. It is a privilege to be granted an insight into people's lives and I take my responsibility as their coach seriously.

In my previous career I was a Partner at The Pramana Collective, Vice President, Global Communications at Jawbone, a leading technology company, and Vice President, Public Affairs, for Starbucks in Europe, Middle East and Africa. I have also served as Director of Corporate Affairs at ITV, and spent 10 years in front-line UK politics, serving as the Special Adviser to the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry.
