Jim godfrey, CPCC, founder and coach

Jim has 25 years of experience as a senior corporate leader, consultant and business coach. He has worked with clients in a wide range of industries, and across many cultures and multiple continents. Jim is a triple certified leadership coach, accredited through the International Coach Federation as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), the Coach Training Institute in California as a Certified Co-Active Professional Coach (CPCC), and through the Neuroleadership Institute in New York as a Brain-Based Coach.

Prior to coaching Jim spent over 20 years working in communications and in politics. He was a Partner at The Pramana Collective, Vice President, Global Communications at Jawbone, a leading technology company, Vice President, Public Affairs, for Starbucks in Europe, Middle East and Africa and served as Director of Corporate Affairs at ITV. Jim spent 10 years in front-line UK politics, serving as the Special Adviser to the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, a Senior Press Office for the Labour Party, and Head of Communications at the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR).

Jim's client list includes executives working in sectors such as venture capital, start-up, biotech, financial services, education, higher education, politics, the public sector, media, publishing, TV, and automotive. While many of his engagements are confidential, a partial list of organisations with whom he has worked includes: IBM, Pinterest, Udadity, Nissan, Andreessen Horowitz, Oxford Sciences Innovation, Deep Mind, Hachette, and on the Landit coaching platform, regular sessions with Harvard Business School, GSK, Infor and Pfizer. Jim also commits a significant portion of his time to pro bono clients, working with politicians, senior executives and teams within not-for-profit organisations.

Outside of coaching, Jim spends his time in Bath, England with his wife and three children, and can often be found in his studio, working as a musician and producer.
